Contextual-Conceptual Therapy: Guiding the Suicidal Patient Using Maps, Models, & MetaphorsContextual-Conceptual Therapy (CCT) is a cutting-edge, clinically-proven approach to helping the suicidal patient understand the phenomenon of suicide and their own internal process, to offer them a new pathway out of suicide.
CCT was developed by Fredric Matteson over the past 22 years through therapeutic dialogue with over 15,000 suicidal patients in a clinical setting. By using maps, models, and metaphors, and other experiential methods, CCT offers suicidal patients a new contextual perspective to bypass the entrenched internal logic that binds them.
The CCT Team offers professional trainings several times a year. Learn the forms of indirect communication needed to circumvent the fierce intelligence and resistance which sustains this psychological and emotional trap.

The Honouring Life NetworkThis is a website developed by the National Aboriginal Health Organization (NAHO) that attempts to address the suicide epidemic that is currently plaguing some First Nations, Inuit and Metis communities. Self-Help ConnectionWe act as a referral to individuals looking for self-help groups throughout Nova Scotia. We also work with people in starting and promoting groups in their area. Every year we publish a directory of self-help groups in Nova Scotia.
